Campland is the creative identity of American singer-songwriter Peter Sleight.
Peter's music takes you on a journey through life's simple moments, exploring the struggles of the everyday person. His songs blend country and folk with a touch of rock, earning a unique label from DJ Salty Cracker as 'Garage Country' on the Country Bunker Show at Gimme Country Radio.
Inspired by the great singer-songwriters of the early '70s, including Blaze Foley, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, and John Prine, Peter pays homage to their timeless influence on his own songwriting and the distinctive Campland sound.

Campland Name Fact:
The name Campland comes from a campground/trailer park called Campland On The Bay in San Diego, California. Peter lived there for 4 month with his fellow band-mates while on a cross-country tour in the early 90's.
